When you’re serving hundreds of customers daily, any upgrade work can feel like a risky move. But as our recent project with Notcutts shows, smart planning and expert execution mean you don’t have to sacrifice trade for transformation.
Notcutts, a much-loved family-owned chain with 19 garden centres across the UK, that has turned to us for multiple garden centre transformation projects, returned to us for a new project at their Wheatcroft site in Nottingham. Their bustling ‘Street Kitchen’ restaurant – which caters for up to 200 diners – needed an upgraded canopy. The catch? The work had to be done with zero disruption to service.
Working closely with the team at Notcutts our installation team was able to install a new outer roof sheet to the garden centre’s vast four span dining canopy, while diners continued to enjoy their meals beneath!
A new outer roof sheet in our unique fire-retardant Opal 60 canopy fabric was installed above the existing insulation and inner sheet, which were still in great condition years after we first installed them, a strategy that saved Notcutts valuable money and disruption to service.
With longevity in mind, we also injected new aluminium infills into the canopy’s gutters and rails and installed new anti-hot spot tape to each canopy loop while we carried out the upgrade works, to prolong the lifespan of the new dining canopy.
The result? A smart, energy-efficient duvet canopy that ticks every box:
