Wrexham Tennis Centre is the largest racquet centre in Wales, and regularly plays host to national and international tennis competitions. With 12 indoor and outdoor tennis courts already available, the centre came to us looking to become the first in North Wales to offer all-weather padel facilities.
The wow
With no membership required to enjoy the club’s world class facilities, we knew we needed to provide an attractive and affordable padel court canopy solution that still offered our signature quality build.
Working with Tennis Wales and contractors Trevor May we delivered a twin span padel court cover with a lattice trellis arch design to provide a light-filled play experience whatever the weather.
The first canopy span measures 22m x 24m, while the second measures 22m x 12m and together they cover three brand new padel courts. To create a streamlined aesthetic the canopy structures have been polyester powder coated in the club’s custom colours.
Each of the quality padel court canopies is fully weather-proof so players can enjoy the new courts not only in Wales’ notoriously wet weather but also in wind, sleet, snow and sunny conditions. Both canopies are covered in our unique Opal 60 canopy fabric, which allows 60% daylight penetration whilst also screening out harmful UV rays. Weatherproof mesh sides have been installed to the full perimeter to protect the courts and players from any debris while allowing maximum airflow to create optimal playing conditions.
Best of all? The new padel court canopy structures come with our industry leading 25-year guarantee, ensuring they’ll provide generations to come with padel pleasure!
