After successfully delivering high-performance canopies for Smash Padel’s Bicester and Haywards Heath venues, we were delighted to partner with the premium padel providers again – this time for their most ambitious facility yet: a six court padel complex in Cardiff.

Working hand-in-hand with our in-house design and engineering teams, our padel specialists created a bespoke triple span canopy that delivers both scale and style – all while meeting the rigorous standards of SAPCA accreditation.

Spanning six courts, this vast padel court canopy not only provides robust year-round weather protection, but also offers generous space around each playing area for spectators, play preparation, warm-ups and coaching.

To echo Smash Padel’s dynamic brand, the canopy structure was finished in a sleek black powder coated frame, complementing the venue’s bold black branding. Vivid green courts and red surrounds complete the standout look – delivering visual energy to match the on-court action.

Above it all, our signature Opal 60 roofing transforms the playing experience. Allowing 60% daylight while blocking harmful UV rays, it creates a bright, airy, glare-free playing environment that is cool in summer and sheltered and light in winter.

Soaring to an impressive height of 9.2m, the structure has a generous sense of space, giving players room to move, react and smash – all with zero weather worries.
