Designing a sheltered waiting area to provide a warm welcome for guests

The brief

Sedgemoor Crematorium wanted to create a welcoming and sheltered waiting area for guests to their site, enabling them to feel comfortable and protected whatever the weather.

The response

A sustainably sourced mono pitch timber canopy was designed by our team to complement the beautiful natural surroundings of the crematorium. The sheltered waiting area features a mono pitch, allowing fresh air to circulate under the canopy to enable guests to feel connected with their natural surroundings whilst still protected from the elements on particularly hot, rainy, or windy days.
