Retail canopies create attractive all-weather high street shopping environment

The brief

A forward-thinking landlord came to us wanting to revitalise their High Street property portfolio in Rustington, installing retail canopies to create a more attractive environment for local residents and to encourage all-weather trade for local retailers.

The response

Rustington’s busy High Street features over 50 stores from national high street names to a host of local independent traders and so creating a cohesive look to the busy area was a key priority.

With this in mind, we created identical retail canopies to run the full length of both sides of the high street, with the commercial canopies creating a true ‘all-weather’ shelter for shoppers – shielding them from driving rain in the winter months and from the beating sun in the summer.

Installation was completed within an ultra-tight timeframe, with as much work as possible completed outside busy shopping hours to minimise disruption to local traders and residents.

Reaction to the build has been unanimously positive:
