Quadruple span padel canopy unlocks year-round day and night play

Having seen the huge popularity of their new all-weather padel facilities at their Birmingham, Paisley and Manchester sites, Powerleague came to us wanting to replicate this success story at their busy Romford site in Greater London.

We pride ourselves on our ability to enable a totally bespoke approach and the canopies we have designed for Powerleague have been different on each of their sites, to maximise the space available.

On their spacious Romford site, with room to play with, we created a striking quadruple span padel canopy – covering four generous courts with a canopy spanning a total of 48m x 21m in length.

Each canopy creates a light-drenched playing experience day or night, with our signature Opal 60 roofing allowing 60% light penetration during the day, and the canopies fitted with floodlighting to allow the famously social sport to be played long into the evenings.

The gable ends of each canopy feature Powerleague’s unmistakable branding for instant stand out, while mesh perimeters shield players from wind, rain and debris to ensure a premium playing experience in all weathers.

The impact of the new all-weather facilities has been immediate. Courts booked for weeks in advance, padel play enjoyed day and night, and the Romford site never busier thanks to the draw padel is creating – drawing new members to explore Powerleague’s facilities.
