Creating a new area to showcase a growing plant offering

The brief

With gardening growing and growing in popularity, B&Q came to us wanting to create a new outdoor canopy and retail area to show off a newly enhanced plant offering.

The response

An elegant barrel vaulted canopy with a walnut finished timber structure created a beautiful natural looking indoor / outdoor environment for shoppers to browse in.

The Opal 20 roof fabric used on our outdoor canopy allowed maximum light penetration, while creating the optimum environment for the plants it was showcasing. It also enabled the retailer to conserve energy use in the vast area with the substantial daylight it allowed enabling the retailer to conserve energy and light use in the vast area, while still protecting customers – often visiting in family groups – to be protected from harmful UV rays.
