Bespoke crematorium walkways to enhance guest flow and protection

The brief

We were approached by North Oxford Crematorium to assist their principal contractor in the design and installation of several timber-based walkways that would guide guests around their beautiful and extensive park grounds.

The response

We created a series of timber structured barrel vaulted walkways to provide all weather protection for guests as they moved around the expansive site. The open sided design of the crematorium walkways together with their vaulted canopies, enable guests to feel sheltered from the elements whilst still feeling connected with their beautiful surroundings.

The 16mm triple wall polycarbonate roof covering allows uplifting daylight to penetrate the crematorium walkways while providing UV protection for guests in the hotter summer months. Mill finished aluminium gutters and rainwater pipes also come as standard in our designs, ensuring a higher quality finish and the guarantee that all materials are fully recyclable.
