Expansive MUGA canopy enables year-round sports with protection from the sun

Essex Primary School in Newham, London wanted a MUGA canopy to create a multi use games area (MUGA) that could be used year round, so that children could benefit from different sport activities whatever the weather.

In response to their brief, we created a vast tapered trellis canopy for this school, measuring a massive 16m x 30m to maximise coverage for pupils and staff. The curved roof of the sports cover allows height for different activities, while our unique Opal 60 fabric ensures light can filter through – while protecting pupils from harmful UV rays.
