Four stunning padel court canopies delivered in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty

East Grinstead Padel Club, part of East Grinstead Sports Club, came to us wanting to make three of their four new floodlit padel courts all-weather facilities. The catch? Because the club sits in an area designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the club needed to satisfy planning authorities that any padel court canopies would sit sympathetically in their surroundings.

With decades of experience delivering all-weather canopy solutions that comply with strict planning laws, we worked closely with East Grinstead Padel and local planning authorities to create padel court canopies that were both practical and beautiful to look at.

The result? A triple span, barrel-vaulted padel court canopy, with a further single span canopy at positioned at a 45-degree angle, to cover four new padel courts. The simple curves of the canopy combined with a carefully chosen deep green powder coating for the structures, ensured that the new padel court canopies sit easily in their natural surroundings.

Every last detail was considered in this project. Even the mesh inserts, which allow breeze to circulate for players, were designed in a deep green to blend more seamlessly with their surroundings.
