All-weather ambulance bay canopy for busy city A&E

Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Doncaster Royal Infirmary Doncaster Royal Infirmary Doncaster Royal Infirmary Doncaster Royal Infirmary Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Doncaster Royal Infirmary is a busy city hospital with multiple ambulance arrivals coming into the hospital’s A&E department every hour. The hospital came to us seeking all-weather protection for patients and crew – vital given that many patients are arriving in an already critical condition.

Our solution? A 30m long ambulance bay canopy that has been designed with a generous 3.5m depth to ensure protection from whatever the British weather has in store!

The canopy frame was polyester powder coated in blue for a striking, durable finish that blended seamlessly with the rest of the hospital’s architecture, wrapping around the building to provide maximum protection.

The wow

We’re proud that this is the second time we have worked with the hospital – testimony to the strong and close working relationships we develop with our customers while working on projects and to their satisfaction with the result we deliver.
