Caravan canopy provides protection for customers and high value stock

The brief

Knowe Park Caravans and Motorhomes, a popular family-owned business and one of the largest retail touring caravan centres in the UK, came to us wanting to enhance their customers’ experience in all weathers by installing an expansive canopy over their caravan and motorhomes. They were also keen to protect their large and expensive selection of products from the elements, and to protect expensive stock.

The response

Working in close collaboration with the family team we designed and created a vast 25m x 26m taper trellis canopy. This true all-weather canopy solution enabled customers to browse the company’s extensive range in all seasons, enabling the business to secure more steady footfall throughout the year. Crucially, the motorhome and caravan canopy also protected their expensive stock from rain creating dust helping to significantly cut down on maintenance work to the vehicles.

The generously high design and dimensions of the canopy allows for free movement of even the largest motorhomes and allows shoppers to browse and experience future purchases in comfort, even during the retailer’s busiest periods.

The wow

The motorhome and caravan canopy was covered in our unique Opal 60 fabric, which allows 60% light penetration, whilst also screening out all harmful UV rays. This enabled this popular retailer to create a true all-weather environment for shoppers – frequently coming in family groups. Importantly, it also protected expensive paintwork on top of the range caravans and motorhomes from harmful UV rays, enabling the retailer to fulfil its promise of delivering their customers ranges in pristine condition.
