Enhancing customer experience at a busy store with a vast retail canopy

The brief

B&Q, the UK retail giant came to us wanting vast retail canopies to enhance their customer experience, protect stock and increase revenue at one of their most popular stores.

The response

Working closely with B&Q’s central team and local store manager we created a bespoke solution that would deliver on the multi-faceted brief.

Two extensive barrel vault canopies, a single span and twin span, vastly expanded the shop’s available retail space, creating a new indoor/outdoor area that showcased the shop’s outdoor furniture, garden equipment and plants to best effect – no matter what the weather.

In this project a hot-dip galvanised finish completed by a 16mm polycarbonate roof created the perfect combination to guarantee a long life for the new outside structure.
