Helping a popular family theme park maximise the year-round potential of their site

The brief

Having already worked on a number of successful projects for this award-winning family theme park – including the installation of a vast outdoor dining canopy – the team at Paultons Park came to us wanting a new amphitheatre canopy to further enhance their reputation for providing quality live entertainment.

The response

We designed and created the park a bespoke 25m by 12.8m semi-circular design, to create an impressive amphitheatre style canopy that protected both the live entertainment stage and large viewing area.

Because we look after projects from start to finish, our design team were able to work closely with our on-site manufacturing team to ensure that the timber structure was stained to match existing nearby canopies to give a cohesive look to the site.

Best of all? Because all our structures come with an industry leading 25 year guarantee, many of the children enjoying shows under the amphitheatre canopy today, might well be returning to enjoy shows under the canopy with their own children in the future!

The wow

The roof was constructed using 16mm triple wall polycarbonate to create a 100% waterproof area, so the park could use the area on every day throughout the summer, no matter what the British weather had in store.

Better still, with the structure being completely precipitation proof, it also allowed the park to use the area for their increasingly popular Christmas events. Now thanks to the live entertainment canopy’s protection their Santa’s Special Christmas Show can go ahead come rain, sleet or even snow!
