Pure Padel strengthens northern footprint with four new all-weather courts in York

Having officially launched its debut club just three years ago in Alderley Park, Pure Padel has already had a meteoric rise with facilities in Stockport, Nottingham and Manchester amongst other sites. With demand for padel at an all-time high, the ambitious operator came to us looking to roll out world class facilities at sites across the country, including at a new site in York to consolidate on its already strong footprint in the North of England.

Pure Padel is renowned in the sector for its premium facilities, so was determined to cement that reputation with their new site.

As ever, Pure Padel wanted to deliver top-of-the range club facilities and so our designers rose to the brief!  The new Pure Padel club is currently the only facility in York to offer a single clear span canopy covering four all-weather courts.

The impressive 22m clear span delivers several key benefits. Its clean lines – with a single vast arch – create a striking, contemporary aesthetic. While underneath the single barrel-vaulted canopy is the brightest possible, optimum playing space. The clear span also delivers uninterrupted views across all four courts creating a cohesive and dynamic feel to the all-weather courts with everyone able to see and watch games across the space. An onsite café bar open into the evenings and available for private hire contributes to the premium social feel of the new club.

Opal 60 roofing with mesh sides creates a fully enclosed but beautifully light environment that is totally weatherproof. The mesh sides also ensure balls stay contained within the playing space for convenience.

Prominent Pure Padel branding on the gable ends contributes to the premium feel of the new facilities and enables Pure Padel to make its mark on the fast-growing Northern padel scene.
