Like many schools, St Michael’s Church of England Middle School in Wimbourne, Dorset have expanded their pupil spaces with strategic use of modular buildings in the grounds.

They contacted Fordingbridge with a view to providing shelter for students moving between the main building and the portable classrooms. Our experience within modular buildings cover a great many aspects from healthcare to education and a number of options were presented.

Here the school have chosen to have three interlinking barrel vaulted canopies, each finished with our custom developed Opal 60 fabric to allow natural light to penetrate, whilst reducing UV and remaining 100% waterproof. The canopies were finished with polyester powder coating to RAL5002 to remain in keeping with the schools branding.

If your pupils need shelter when moving to your outside classroom, please contact us and we will happily discuss the situation
