As part of an ongoing rejuvenation project within this busy hospital, we were proud to work alongside leading modular building contractor Catfoss in the construction of the entrance canopy for the new entrance building at Poole Hospital.

The new main front entrance, has been designed to improve the privacy and dignity of patient transfers.

The modern and welcoming front entrance links the main hospital to the Philip Arnold Unit and includes a new reception area, improved communal spaces, a suite of public rest rooms, an open-plan patient experience hub for initial patient queries as well as Costa Coffee, WH Smith and a Stock Shop clothing store.

Working to the specification of Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Noviniti and Catfoss, Fordingbridge designed and manufactured a large oversailing canopy to create a bold new main entrance for the Dorset hospital, allowing for easier vehicular access, increased patient flow and enhanced experience for both patients and staff.
