Temporary healthcare policy update surrounding COVID-19

By 19th March 2020Blog

At Fordingbridge, we are fully committed to doing everything we can to ensure business continuity in light of the challenges created by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. We are continually monitoring and following Government guidelines and advice from Public Health England, taking all recommended measures to ensure the safety of our colleagues, suppliers and customers.

Our robust policy will allow us to continue to provide services to our clients, and those staff working remotely remain contactable as per usual.

The health and safety of our team and clients is paramount to us and we want to ensure that we play our part in minimising disruption. As part of this commitment, we are imposing a number of measures in addition to our existing welfare policies.

  • All non-essential visitors to the office/factory are discouraged. Those without confirmed appointments will be turned away
  • All deliveries are to be left in clearly designated areas at a 2m distance from staff
  • Face-to-face meetings will be rescheduled, or preferably replaced with video conference
  • Installation crews on site will operate robust welfare policing and periodic self-checks

We work in a number of sectors directly affected by the situation such as education, healthcare, logistics and retail. Fordingbridge are committed to continuing to provide our services, minimising any further disruption to these areas and playing our part in assisting through this time.

Please respect our additional policies throughout this period, stay safe and continue to be mindful of friends and family who are most vulnerable.

Kind regards,

Stephen Toone
