We are delighted to have completed phase two of our planned works at Philip Morant School, Colchester.
This is Fordingbridge’s second successive summer at the school, working around term time to ensure minimal disruption to the school’s site.
In the summer of 2013 we completed a 715m² atrium canopy that effortlessly transformed an under-utilised courtyard, sandwiched between two existing buildings, into a bright weather protected space.
This summer we re-visited the school to install a 98m long walkway that will ensure a safe weather protected route between buildings.
The flat mono pitch structure was polyester powder coated in the school’s main colour and utilised a triple walled polycarbonate roofing system. The sides were completed by a 9.5mm toughened and laminated glass.
Fordingbridge were able to provide a fully project managed design and build package to help the school achieve their vision. All of our steel work is designed and manufactured by our in-house technical team, meaning precision in design and engineering and speed of manufacture for your convenience.
Fordingbridge is a fully CE mark approved manufacturer of steel fabrications.
