Outdoor classroom day on the 18th May – are you taking part?

Many schools around the world will be taking their lessons outdoors and prioritise playtime. To learn more about this day, see the Outdoor Classroom Day website.

It is claimed that outdoor learning improves children’s health, provides more engagement and leads to an improved connection with nature. Play also teaches critical life skills such as resilience, teamwork, creativity and above all, allows children to enjoy childhood.

Everyday is an outdoor day with a Fordingbridge canopy. Our education canopies and walkways allow staff and pupils to learn, play and dine alfresco style regardless of the weather.

Take a look at some of the case studies to see how we have helped schools incorporate fresh air into daily activities.
