Many are remote working, but can we help your children learn remotely?
With schools across the country currently closed, we are aware of the need for continued learning throughout the crisis. We have always worked closely with educators to create stimulating environments for pupils and now is no exception (many of our team are parents too, so we understand).
Our friends in the zoo and aquarium community have developed a range of educational and engaging content to help parents, teachers and governors teach children about conservation, animal welfare and the environment from home through their FREE education resources; and have fun while doing it!
While these animal attractions have closed their doors throughout the crisis, the hard work of the animal keepers still continues. The lions, tigers, elephants and meerkats still need feeding. The gorillas, leopards and giraffe still need exercise. Life behind the zoo gates is continuing, and while you may not be able to visit in person, these FREE resources will allow you to enjoy a virtual visit, and give your children opportunity to learn about the valuable work taking place.
It will also allow you to see that while the gates are closed, zoo life continues, as the animals still need to be fed and cared for. Therefore showing your support for these attractions, is more important than ever.
