Continued investment in our factory

Factory investment continues

Following an upgrade of the band-saw in our factory (which gives us one of the largest cutting capacities on the South Coast) we welcome the arrival of our new guillotine. After thorough consultation as to future-proofing our in-house steel manufacturing facility, we decommissioned our old machine ready for a swift switch with no delays to production, thanks to careful collaboration and planning between our Production Manager, the manufacturer and haulage specialist.

Operating under the guidance of the manufacturer technician, our engineers received a full training program on the speed and productivity enhancements the new machine allows for, along with the additional enhanced safety features as specified by our H&S Manager.

Over the previous 12 months our engineers have received upgraded tooling including state-of-the-art breathing apparatus to exceed H&S guidelines for welding, an upgraded high capacity band-saw,  a larger industrial cleaner for swarf and now the guillotine.

The continuous investment in our factory, facilities and people allows us to offer the best for employees and customers alike. It’s thanks to our staff, from designers to engineers, that our lead-times set the standard in the industry and the fact that we are able to manufacture in-house allows us to ensure that we provide the highest quality and most competitive costings for our projects.
