Over the last few years, Fordingbridge has had the incredible privilege of working with a vast pool of truly brilliant businesses. Read on to learn more about our collaborations…
We have worked with the nation’s favourite coffee-house chain, Costa. We helped devise and deliver a ‘zero energy’ site in Shropshire. After that success, we teamed up with Costa again to design and build another eco-friendly area: a drive-through in Swansea with a neutral carbon footprint. We are very proud of both projects!
Odeon, the iconic cinema franchise, brought in Fordingbridge to spruce up their Dickens World site with a roof-mounted tension fabric canopy. The finished product was an eye-catching architectural feature which adds a spot of dramatic flair to this hub of movie magic.
The home-improvement giant, B&Q, are one of our biggest retail clients. For their Merthyr Tydfil site, we produced a sizeable timber canopy. And at their Redditch branch, we constructed a polycarbonate covering. In both cases, our designs boosted the brand’s outdoor selling capabilities.
Junction Retail Park
When it rains, dry customers are happy customers. Because of that simple fact, we were very pleased to install a series of waterproof walkways at Junction Retail Park. These tensile fabric features will prevent shoppers from getting soggy, even on the dampest of days.
Dobbies Garden World
Fordingbridge works with a lot of garden centres, expertly creating durable outdoor structures to house profitable retail areas. Our collaboration with Dobbies Garden World is one example of this arm of our business. We built a multi-span steel canopy for this centre, helping their business to grow and thrive.
When Telford Reprographics wanted to move to a new environmentally-friendly HQ, Fordingbridge stepped in to design and deliver the entire building. Meeting the highest ecological standards, we produced a 180m² office building to suit the print company’s every need.
Edwards Vacuum Engineering
This global vacuum engineering company wanted a covered walkway to spruce up their carpark areas and save their employees and visitors from getting caught in the rain. We delivered an 80m steel structure which links the car park and the main building. It also has areas to where bikes and motorbikes can be parked.
No job is too big or too small for us, so when Tates asked for a steel canopy to improve the appearance of their entrance and provide rain cover at the front door, we jumped at the opportunity. The installation didn’t take long, but it did a lot to spruce up the building.
Collaborating with Tuesley Farm’s architect, we built a brand-new Education Centre which includes 330m² of office and conference space as well as a large balcony. This was a hugely rewarding project, and a huge expansion for the Tuesley Farm business.
Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre
When the Rushden Lakes area was undergoing a sizeable redevelopment, it was a joy to be involved. The main contractor brought us on board to create a covered seating area where visitors could take a moment to enjoy the beauty of the lakes. Rising to the challenge, we installed the canopy in just three days.
Landmark Forest Adventure Park
We worked with the team at Landmark Forest Adventure Park to build an iconic new area to house tropical butterflies, fish and birds. The resultant 400m² structure is known as Butterfly House – it is a hugely popular attraction with a real wow factor.
We loved working with these companies, and we’d love to work with yours! If you’d like to make the most of your business’s outdoor space, please do get in touch…
