Fordingbridge were commissioned to design and build a combination of cantilevered, gullwing and box hoop walkways for Edwards in Burgess Hill.
The global specialist engineering company required a bespoke structure for people transferring between the organisations parking facilities and its main building. The walkway is also to provide cover for motorcycle and bicycle parking.
The mild steel solution will be 72m long, 2.1m in height and polyester powder-coated in a stock RAL grey. A triple walled polycarbonate roofing solution will be accompanied by glazed panels fixed between each vertical post, with acid etched Edwards lettering within the glass. Mill finish aluminium rainwater down pipes will finish the structure.
All of our steel work is designed and manufactured by our in-house technical teams, meaning precision in design and engineering and speed of manufacture for your convenience. Fordingbridge is a fully CE mark approved manufacturer of steel fabrications.
