For Carr Manor, Fordingbridge designed, manufactured and installed a series of tension fabric barrel vault canopies which were hung from the steel columns of the school building and set out on a radius around the central courtyard, covering a total area of approximately 325m².
The total contract value for this was just over £68,000. The structures form an elegant and eye-catching canopy, which also provide shade for the windows and a practical covered walkway.
Fordingbridge offers a tension fabric design and construction service, providing a range of elegant design solutions offering robust, permanent tension fabric structures with a lightweight appearance and minimal structural support.
These highly versatile, dramatic structures can be utilised for numerous applications.
