Smoking Shelter

This single conic tension canopy was built by our on site construction team as our Smoking Shelter.

The structure covers an area 5m x 5m, with four height adjustable footplates and anchor bolts to fix down to concrete pads or a base.

The roof canopy is a fire retardant PVC called Opal 60, which allows 60% light transmission. Sides are available as an optional extra.

The ‘self-build’ kit is delivered to your site for only
£4,100 plus VAT. Delivery included for mainland England only, other areas price on application.

Alternatively we can deliver and erect on your concrete base for only £4,900 plus VAT. Mainland England only, other areas price on application.

To enhance your shelter we offer the following options:

First side clad in with Opal 60 £450.00 plus VAT

Second or additional sides £250.00 plus VAT

‘Elephant feet’ which are simply four cylinders of concrete, to remove the need to bolt down are £600 plus VAT.

Bespoke smoking shelters can also be designed and constructed by Fordingbridge in steel or timber with fire retardant claddings, to blend with any environment.

Most of our curved roof structures could be made for use as smoking shelters.

Steel frameworks may be hot dip galvanised for a maintenance free life, powder coated or painted to complement existing buildings.

Roof claddings can be either Opal 60 which has an expected life of 8 years or a hard wearing triple wall polycarbonate which has an expected life of 15 years. Both fabrics are translucent, reduce UV transmission by at least 95% and meet appropriate British Standards for fire performance.

Our tension fabric structures can be adapted to suit any shape or size of courtyard or garden. They consist of a steel framework with hot-dip galvanised or RAL/BS painted finish, plus fabric membrane offering durability of 10 to 20 years for the PVC membrane, to 25-30 years with the PTFE membrane coating.

Tensile fabric structure shapes include: cantilevered, hypar, umbrella and double conic. We are continually exploring the application’s possibilities.

So be it:

which you would like to see in your pub garden, all are available in fire retardant fabrics with UV protection as well and can be individually designed to suit areas of any shape or size.

Whatever the English weather throws at you, your smokers will be comfortable and well protected under our well designed, strong curved roof structures.
